The CJGA INDOOR GOLF facility is excited to host Individual 18 Hole Tournaments, Parent/Junior Alternate Shot Tournaments, and 2-Person Alternate Shot tournaments during the winter season. WHAT ARE THE TEE TIMES FOR THE TOURNAMENTS?
The tee times are as follows – 7:00am / 9:30am / 12pm / 2:30pm / 5pm / 7:30pm / 10pm
HOW DO YOU RESERVE TEE TIMES?
When you register for a tournament it will allow you to pick the best time for your schedule. Keep in mind, each tee time will have 2 teams in each golf simulator bay.
HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO FINISH YOUR TOURNAMENT ROUND?
You have 2.5 hours to finish your round. The first 5 minutes will be a presentation on how the technology works. You will then have 15 minutes to hit on the range and practice putting before the tournament rounds start.
IS THERE A STROKE LIMIT ON A HOLE?
Yes. Double Par is the limit on any hole.
DO YOU USE HANDICAPS FOR THE TOURNAMENT?
No. We do not use handicaps for our tournaments. Our tournaments are flighted when completed. For example, if we have 42 teams in the tournament then there will be 4 flights. The way we figure out the flights is by announcing where the flights start after the results. It may be top 9 scores and ties is 1st flight. The next top 9 scores and ties is the 2nd flight. The next top 9 scores and ties is the 3rd flight and the remainder of teams is the 4th flight. The winners from every flight will receive merchandise credit from Blackberry Oaks Golf Course.
DO YOU HAVE A CASH SKINS GAME FOR THE TOURNAMENT?
Yes. There will be an optional cash skins game.
DO YOU PROVIDE SCORING ALL DAY ON YOUR WEBSITE?
Yes. You can visit www.chadjohansen.com to track live scoring for the entire day of the tournament.
CAN YOU PURCHASE ALCOHOL DURING THE TOURNAMENT?
Yes. We serve a wide variety of beer.
WHERE DOES THE CJGA INDOOR OPEN TAKE PLACE?
All CJGA INDOOR OPEN tournaments take place at the CJGA Indoor Golf Facility in the Go For It Sports dome at 9231 Galena Road, Yorkville, IL 60560. If you have more questions we can be reached at 630.383.1698
WHAT KIND OF SHOES SHOULD I WEAR?
We recommend using regular flat bottom shoes. DO NOT wear shoes that have any type of reflectors on them. Our launch monitors get very confused with the reflections off of some shoes.
